Outstanding Public Service by a Regional Station: In its series entitled Operation Big Muddy, radio station WOW, Omaha, Nebraska, has emphasized on of the great achievements of our time—the harnessing of the Missouri River. It has brought home the meaning of this vast undertaking in navigation, flood control, soil conservation and hydroelectric power to those who will be most vitally affected.
