Banks on the Brink

A program in the Second Sunday series, the Peabody Board commends NBC News’ Banks on the Brink for tackling a difficult topic, one not well-suited to the broadcast media, “in a thorough, engaging manner.” Interviews with banking industry leaders are combined with bureau reports to produce an enlightening view of the global economic situation. The tremendous effort put into the program resulted in an exceptionally thought-provoking and involved treatment of the crisis in international banking.
