An imaginative and inclusive approach to theatre entertainment in the home. Avoiding the triteness of formula production, these presentations in 1968 included outstanding classics, new experimental plays, an occasional musical, and even an Indian motion picture. The productions were of high quality whether secured from abroad or specially commissioned. In recognition, a Peabody Award for television entertainment.
