Music ‘Til Dawn

Inaugurated to meet changing program patterns, both in time and place, and recognizing the public’s growing appreciation of fine music, the program, Music ‘Til Dawn, the first successful all-night program of sponsored music, has made a unique contribution to the culture of America over the past decade. For bringing outstanding classical and semi-classical music throughout the night to millions of listeners over seven major owned or affiliated CBS stations from coast to coast, a Peabody Award is presented to CBS Radio and American Airlines for this meritorious public service.
